Classic UO

Aside from the Classic Client, while there are many different things that define what "Classic UO" is, there are two major turning points in UO's history that stand out above all others as marking an end to the "Classic Era". The first was the introduction of the facet of Trammel with the release of the Renaissance expansion in the year 2000. The second was the removal of the old item system when the Age of Shadows expansion was released.

The Second Age

Oceania Classic is set in The Second Age (T2A), before the Renaissance and the Age of Shadows expansions.

While Oceania Classic is set in The Second Age, it is not a replica of it, nor does it seek to be.
